Domestic Apprenticeship
The government has regulated an Apprenticeship System in Manpower Law Number 13 of 2013/Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration Regulation Number 22 of 2009.
The domestic job training system is acknowledged by the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia. This program held for job seekers or High School graduates (minimum 18 years old) to learn control of work attitudes, knowledge, and skills based on experience carrying out tasks through a training program to increase work awareness, ability, and productivity.
Advantages of the Domestic Apprenticeship System Participants can support the main job in the company with employment status as an apprentice.
The apprenticeship periods are varies, and determined by evaluation of working attitudes and competencies. Those with good performance can be recruited as a contract employee or PKWT after the apprenticeship period has finished.
The company could add value to its reputation by implementing a CSR program in training prospective workers in Indonesia.
